RC-ANNIE Ltd was established in 2005 by Rachel Bown-Williams and Ruth Cooper-Brown.
Work in theatre includes: The Secret Theatre, Boudica, Lions and Tigers; Much Ado About Nothing; Twelfth Night, The White Devil, Comus and Imogen at Shakespeare’s Globe; The Little Matchgirl (Bristol Old Vic and Shakespeare’s Globe)Common, Ugly Lies the Bone, Peter Pan, The Threepenny Opera, The James Plays (co-production with National Theatre of Scotland and Edinburgh International Festival) and Cleansed at the National Theatre; Salome, Snow in Midsummer, The Famous Victories of Henry V and Girl Fights at the RSC; The House They Grew Up In at Chichester Festival Theatre; HIR at Bush Theatre; Woyzeck at the Old Vic; The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, Barnbow Canaries, Great Expectations and Richard III at West Yorkshire Playhouse; The Retreat at The Park Theatre; East is East at Northern Stage; My Brilliant Friend at The Rose Theatre, Kingston; The Boys in the Band and Dead Funny at the Vaudeville; The Boys in the Band at Park Theatre and UK tour; The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, Uncle Vanya, Insignificance, Jumpy, My People, All My Sons, Aristocrats at Theatr Clwyd.

Every aspect of Rc-ANNIE Ltd has been thoughtfully created and lovingly developed. Rachel and Ruth are passionate and committed to furthering the art of Stage Combat by offering excellent training, creative and innovative Fight Direction/Action Co-ordination and reliable Dramatic Violence solutions for Stage and Screen.
Rachel and Ruth both come from performing backgrounds; Rachel having trained as an Actress at Rose Bruford College and Ruth having wide professional experience as a Performer and Technician in large scale Historical Entertainment Productions and Variety. Both were drawn to Stage Combat via performance then training as British Academy of Dramatic Combat Teachers for whom they are now Examiners and Ruth is the current Chairperson for the Academy.
